Hi there i am looking too install mac osx without the ability of having a dvd drive, i today got my netbook , i have the msi wind installer dvd , i want too install it using a 16gb memory card, or external if possible ,


i also have a 500gb external hard drive ( i took this apart today in hope of the sata bridge working with the dvd drive from my main pc but it was detected only as a unformatted hard drive )

am i able too repartition my seagate external hard drive and make a bootable mac partition on the samsung,160gb hard drive and boot directly from the external hard drive with this image or can i use a partition manager change the memory card too a mac format put the image on the memory card and boot straight from the sd card ??

if so any advice regarding my install would make my life a wee bit easier as im a bit short on funds atm for a external dvd drive after getting this nc10 a new gfx card and the 2gb ram upgrade , thanks for the help guys

i would also like too keep my xp installation does mac os show in the windows bootloader... or vice versa

ive found a great tutorial, just repartioning my hard drive and going too use ddmac to make a bootable partition, no help needed well not yet, should be able too figure the rest of it out
