i have all three distros and i havent been able to get it to boot (it hangs at waiting for root device) any ideas?

amd 6000x2
4gb ocz
160 ide hd
160 sata
500 sata (where i wanna install it)
geforce 8600 512mb

ive tried !aktos v5, kaylway and idneb

done that too it hangs on waiting for rood device

What is your motherboard and chipset?

did you try to boot with just one core?

biostar t-power n750 sli

also i have another system too

amd 64 3000
2gb
400gb hd
nvidia 6600 128mb
asus a8n-sli

if i cant get it to work on my desktop then ill try the other system

ok after searching online for a few hours anyone have any idea how to install any distro with nvidia chipsets?

the desktop that i am on now is a 750a sli (biostar tpower)
what i wanna install it to is an asus a8n-sli nforce 4

any ideas?
