Hello,
I've been working on changing my old Dell Dimension 4550 into a hackintosh for a while, with little success. After I finish the installation, I can't get OS X to boot. The only thing I can do is run the iDeneb v1.4 DVD, which takes me back through all of the installation steps. If anyone has an idea of what I did wrong and how to fix it, it would be greatly appreciated. Here is what I've installed for my system: Kernel: Voodoo Chipset: ICHx Fixed Video: NVinject 128 Fix: Seatbelt and Cpus=1-fix Apps: All I tried to put my system information into my signature, but I wasn't allowed to edit my signature for some reason. Here is what I am working with: OS: Windows XP Home SP3 CPU: Intel Pentium 4, 2533 MHz MB: Dell Dimension 4550 (Chipset Intel Brookdale i845PE) RAM: 512 MB PC2700 DDR SDRAM Ethernet: 3Com EtherLink XL 10/100 PCI TX NIC Audio: Creative SB Live! Series Audio Processor Video: NVIDIA GeForce4 MX 420 (64 MB) Thank you, in advance, for any help that is offered. |
