hi! i've tried to install the distro "iPC_OSx86_10_5_6_Universal_PPF5_Final" on my pc, but i keep getting the error "still waiting for root device" when it's loading the dvd, after i input the options (like -v).
From what i've read, the problem is my dvd drive, which is IDE, not sata, and i do not have any sata or usb dvd drives to use.

My question is: is there any other way of installing, not using a dvd drive? maybe an ipod touch/iphone/usb flash drive/ using another pc (maybe my mothers notebook) to install it on my pc via network?
