Default Compaq 702 Compatibility

I currently have a MacBook but its normally plugged into my TV, speaker system, external DVD writer etc and its annoying when I have to unplug everything and reorganise my screen. Would Osx86 work on a Compaq 702? What issues would there be, your experiences etc
