Hello. I'm new here and this is my first post.
After unsuccessfuly researching all over the internet for a solution to my problem, I decided to ask here. I'm trying to install Leopard OSX (ToH RC2) on My Fujitsu Siemens Esprimo Mobile V5515, and I created a specific partition, by following this tutorial (The ultimate OSX on PC guide) but when I get to the part where in the Disk Utility I should select the partition that I created, it just doesen't detect my HD. I've read all over the place that this may happen because my HD is SATA, but I couldn't find any answer that fixes this problem, so my question is... Is there any way to get passed through this problem? If so, how can I do it? Here are my Laptop specs: Fujitsu Siemens ESPRIMO Mobile V5515 - Pentium Dual Core T2130 1.86 GHz - 15.4" TFT Processor Intel Pentium Dual Core T2130 / 1.86 GHz ( Dual-Core ) Cache Memory 1 MB - L2 Cache RAM 1 GB (installed)- DDR2 SDRAM - 667 MHz Hard Drive 120 GB - Serial ATA-150 - 5400 rpm Optical Storage DVD±RW (+R double layer) / DVD-RAM - integrated Display 15.4" TFT 1280 x 800 ( WXGA ) Graphics Controller SiS Mirage 3+ Networking Network adapter - Ethernet, Fast Ethernet, Gigabit Ethernet, IEEE 802.11b, IEEE 802.11g Previous Operating System Microsoft Windows Vista Business I hope this might help to find a solution to my problem. Thanks in advance and sorry about my poor english! Last edited by PutoMaluko; 03-11-2009 at 03:36 AM. |

Did you format your partition as Extended Journaled with Disk Utility?

No, that's the step I what I was trying to do, but since the Disk Utility doesn't detect my HD, I can't to it. Any ideas?
Thanks! |
