Default iDeneb 1.4 (Leopard 10.5.6 ) Install Success but Resolution & sound problem!

Hey guys.

I need a bit of help.

I installed iDeneb 1.4 (Leopard 10.5.6 ), on my rig specs as follows.

E8400
Abit IP35 Pro
2GB RAM
Palit HD4870
250GB Seagate HDD for OSX alone.

Now, the thing is, I understand that there is no Driver support fo the HD4870.
1) But is there a way to just manually set the resolution to 1680*1050?
Or will I have to wait for a 10.5.7 release where ive read that the HD4000 Series will be supported.

2) Also, I can seem to get my creative X-fi Platinum to work.
Are there drivers which support the X-fi?

Thanks for an help.

Regards,
Ad1tya.

@Ad1tya,
I have the exact same mobo (Abit IP-35 Pro).
iDeneb 1.4 works, IPC 10.5.6 works, Boot-132 + Retail Leo works.
The video support for HD4870 is unknown atm. I'm using an nvidia 9800.
I don't have the xfi platinum so I can't tell you. I use the onboard sound which is an ALC888 + azlia patch.

ps: can you shutdown, restart and sleep the computer ? I can't. BTW, what BIOS version are you using ?

What method did you use to setup your 4870?

Cheers,
