First I would like to thank icchansan for the great tutorial!!
It helped me get my HP m9340f up and running with the 5.17 bios mod. I also have sound and networking works fine. My video card though is another story, i have tried everything I could find on this forum and elsewhere and I did not get my hardware acceleration to work. Information is also very fragmented and I might not have done it right. ![]() I have re-installed iatkos v5i, opengl 10.5.5 framework and the 9000 series drivers i found in some other thread. My video card can detect my monitors, i see the 512 ram in the system diagnostics, but whenever I try to open a video editing program it tells me that I have 0 vram!!! and that quartz extreme is not working, even if I enabled it with the OSX86 utils. Please please I need my damn 9500GS to work with hardware acceleration!! Thank you all for your time! ![]() ![]() ![]()

I'm missing something, I keep reading about a solution but can't find the post explaining it in this 60+ pages thread.
I did the custom nvidia card setup, but after a reboot, nothing has changed, and I can't find the custom string that I just created, as if I didn't change a thing. Something that I never seen anyone write about, is the graphic device ID important? does it have to be setup somewhere? In my case its 0x0644. Other than the OSXtools do i need some other software to install??? Sorry for reasking the same thing, i'm very efficient with search engines and tech stuff doesn't frighten me one bit (it's part of my day job), but this is simply not working

Yeah I got the following specs:
Q6600 ASUS IPIBL-LA 4GB RAM 8600GT Plenty Of Hard Drive CWD-854 RT73 USB WLAN and I want to know is the driver for the CWD-854... I installed the one you listed... it said no device... I tried another one from another site by Prasys... it works occasionally but when it does you have to go through of processes of unplugging it replugging... and taking a long time to connect to my wireless... how do I get my WLAN to work properly? |
