thats odd, please do this, delete APPLEHDA, ALCInject, HDAenabler from the extensions, repair permissions, and then install the kexts, you should be able to get audio, those files works in 10.5.5 to 10.5.7, Im using them right now, how did you install them?

I'm having shutdown issues, I was wondering if anyone else has their shutdown hang too? It just stays at the background. It doesn't turn off.

hey guys! for some reason i left a DVD in my DVD drive and when i do so, the computer doesn't want to shutdown correctly... I took it out... and BAM! It finally shuts down correctly. I don't know why that is but that's what happened.

HP Pavilion Elite M9040n

I tried installing iAtkos 5i on my Pavilion and i always got the silver screen that forces a shutdown. (I posted a screenshot in post #99).

So then others with similar problems recommended iPC 10.5.6, and when I run that, I get the gray screen with the apple for about 10 minutes, then it goes to a darker gray screen for another 10 minutes and the entire time there I will get a spinning beachball, and then it will just shut off. This has happened 3 times in a row.

Any advise at all?

P.S. I have already loaded 5.17 BIOS, and changed the HD to AHCI and enabled the XD thing, so none of those are the problem.

So weird man, do you have IPIBL-LB right? are you installing a patched kernel? with our configs we can install without customize try that and report back your progress

mjstallion, try using the 5.23 bios

hi everyone i have and hp pavillion elite desktop m9300t nvidia Geforce 9300 ge card with 256mb ram. Im wondering if this will work when i install iatkos5i.? or do i need a better graphics card please get back thank you..

Hi icchansan, thank you for all the great help through all of these posts. I have EVERYTHING working, including wireless, sound, mouse/keyboard, video, etc.

The only issue is my Sleep mode. Ethernet does not wake up when I get it out of sleep. Anyway to resolve this?

Not sure about your video card man, did you check in the HCL or google?

Aw, what osx version are you using? did you try to fix it?

I'm using iAtkos v5i, I've updated to 10.5.7 through combo update. I've tried both the Sleepissuefixed kext and the 10.5.7 repair pack. No luck.

Any ideas?
