Default Kalyway OSX86 on External Hard Drive on a Dell Inspiron 1525 BUT NEED WIFI

Kalyway OSX86 Running Off My External Hard Drive.
I completed the install! I searched for a way to do this give or take two years ago, unsuccessfull I gave up. Today there are a number of ways to install Mac OSX on PCs as easy as on a MAC.

I was going to try to partition my 160GB HD and install OSX there, but I already have 20BG dedicated to Windows 7 Beta v7000, and another 60GB for media files like Movies Music etc. I couldn't find any posts of a successful install w/ use of an "EX. HD.". So I tryed it, and low and behold, vwalla.

This is what I did step for step.

I foramted the external hard drive to (ms-dos)FAT32 with Windows Vista, normal format, not through Disk Utility. Then rebooted the computer.

NOTE: I burned DVD on 8x. 4x I had problums.

I put in the Kalyway 10.5.2 DVD Intel_Amd (sse2/sse3) EFI V8 ISO and booted from the disk.

When Darwin loaded I pushed F8 and booted with -vanila

I skipped the disk check, followed the instructions and loaded it in.

It took about an hour.

When it comes to rebooting I thought I had the wrong drivers and such. I got a grey screen w/ grey apple, blue then black screen when it loaded up.

There is actualy no problum here. Infact it is loading up with the screen sleeping. I just have to wake it up. So I hit a bunch of keys nothing happened. So I pushed my power button once to put into sleep mode. Waited 10 seconds and pushed it again to wake it up.

Or I can drag my mouse to my choosen location, through settings in the OS. But this way causes the desktop icons to vanish!!!!

Problums of mine

I ran into a couple. If any one can help me and others with simalure problums it will be appreciated.

1) Dell wireless 1395 WLAN mini card Rev. 3.0 drivers. Wireless is not working, links in OSx project forums not a help.

2) Not exactly too familulare with this whole KEXT game. Where are they located, and how do I edit them?

3) How do I direct the Terminal to a folder to run a script? It keeps saying somthing like, ...that is a directory...

4) DVD drivers, Battery icon, etc.

This is the out ofthe box specs of my "iDell", the Dell Inspion 1525 160GB 3GB:

I am currently running the bare install, Kalyway 10.5.2.

I can't upgrade without the wifi, but even so I fear that it wont workor worse might happen on Apple's update.

I will get upgrades for .3 & .4 then .5 in incrament to avoid system stress.

iwidarwin - Google Code just directs me to OSX86 project forum.

The wifi card is a "Dell Wireless 1395 WLAN Mini-Card" Chipset is BCM4315 / BCM22062000. I am pritty sure it is standard in the newer versions of Dell Inspiron 1525s.

Is that a Broadcom card or Intel?

It is not reconizing my card, is there a program in OSX like divice manager?

I think BCMxxxx is Broadcom.
