i used the ideneb v1.3 10.5.5 dvd and installed it on an 80 gig hd.Using the built in disk utility i erased the disk, named it leopard and formatted it.
At the customize screen i used this post for my choices iDeneb 10.5.5 on Asus p5k (plain vanilla) - InsanelyMac Forum I let the installer finish, when it rebooted i turned the machine off, reconnected my windows hd and booted into windows. Then i ran a program called macdrive which allows me to access the folders on the macosx hd.I deleted the AppleIntelCpuPowerManagement.kext and folder.Disconnected my windows harddrive and rebooted. I thrn used this post to finish setting up my system Testing Grounds: OSX Leopard 10.5.5 On A PC. After that it was playtime.... |

Hi All
I'm having absolutely no luck with my installation. I've burnt the latest iDeneb 1.4 onto a DVD with nero (selected finalize disk) and I have changed boot order so DVD drive is at the top but i keep getting the error "Reboot and select proper boot device" I'm sure the DVD image is ok, I've checked it with UltraISO and all seems fine. My system is P5K Intel Q6600 g0 stepping 4 GB ram IDE DVD drive Seagate 500GB & 1 TB drives. I've created a partition that is still currently NTFS, I guess i need to reformat but I thought that should happen after the disk has loaded in iDeneb disk utility. Any one got any ideas?? I'd really appreciate the help, have been searching around for answers all night with no luck. I'm a Mac noob. cheeeers ![]() JJ |
