Default Partition not showing up in location to install

Im trying to install Leopard to my T400, and im not able to see the partition that i have formatted using Gparted Live for OS X. There are no locations to install the OS, but the hard drive is detected and Im able to get the installer to run without fault. I have tried the Disk Utility but it doesnt let me format the partition. I have tried erasing the partition but it still wont let me mount the drive.

Im using the iATKOS_v1.0i R2 image.

any ideas?

Thanks in advance.

K2

The Disk Utility will not give me the option to without reformattin the entire drive, which i cant do cause i have windows on another partition.

I formated it from GParted Live and that seemed to work just fine, but the installer still doesnt recognize the partition.

Any thoughts?

I get it man, but I dont really know what are you doing, like I said your the second person with this issue, the second pic is to make partitions and of coz it will erases the entire disk, but if you already did a partition, just select it and erase it as Extended Journaled.

@.o you did this?

Use Disk Utility from the Utilities menu. In Disk Utility, Select your Partition, and format you should choose Mac OS Extended (Journaled). After partitioning, quit Disk Utility to return to the Leopard Installer.

Then Select your partition
