Hey everyone, im having a problem with installing Kalyway 10.5.2 on my (hp pavilion dv5-1125nr) laptop. Ok heres the problem when I boot the cd and the text starts scrolling down booting the kernal and all, my computer suddenly loads into a white screen and the "caps lock" and "scroll number lock" lights on my keyboard start flashing and nothing happens. I already trying booting with another kernel and using boot flags and booting with my screen resolution but still nothing works. Please help i have a (amd turion 64 X2 processor) with 4 gigabytes of ram and my graphics card is a (ati radeon HD3200)

Try this when darwin appear:
if it get stuck or you get any error please post back, you can post pictures, not too big

It still didn't work
I can't find the charger to my camera so i cant take picture or videos but what went down was that i put the command in and the scrolling text came up (which is normal of course) but then my screen went white and the caps lock and number lock lights started to flash on my keyboard as soon as the text ended. Please help.

Can you post the latest strings? any error, anything?

I'll post the strings it gives me when booting up normally. But i dont see any error warnings in the string.

Ok it didnt work so I downloaded Mac OS X 10.4.8 [JaS AMD-Intel-SSE2-SSE3 with PPF1 & PPF2] and it worked but the problem is i didnt partition my drive. know any good partitioning software? Sorry for going off topic.

OSX have one, Use Disk Utility from the Utilities menu. In Disk Utility, Select your Partition, and format you should choose Mac OS Extended (Journaled). After partitioning, quit Disk Utility to return to the Leopard Installer. Important: Partitioning the disk erases the entire disk, so make sure you back up your important files first. But your installing tiger ok?

Yes im aware. But i wanted to dual boot with vista. Any guides?

BTW is there any way of upgrading to leopard in tiger?
