Running iDeneb Lite 1.6 (10.5.8) with latest Apple software updates. I'd like to get FireWire devices working, but although it seems to supply power to devices, I can't make a "valid" device connection.
System Profiler -> Hardware -> FireWire just says "Warning: Unable to list FireWire devices." Messages that appear during boot: Code:
$ grep -i firewire /private/var/log/system.log Nov 3 20:45:03 localhost kernel[0]: FireWire runtime power conservation disabled.
