Question Onboard ALC888 in 10.5.7

I have an onboard Realtek High Definition Audio card that Vista IDs as 'HDAUDIO\FUNC_01&VEN_10EC&DEV_0888&SUBSYS_10192801 &REV_1000'. From this I get the string '088810ec'.

I've tried several AppleHDA.kext plus HDAEnabler.kext/ALCinject.kext combinations in 10.5.7 (iAtkos), but nothing seems to get the audio working. System Profiler -> Audio (Built In) shows "Intel High Definition audio" with a Device ID (0x10192601) and Audio ID (12), but nothing under Available Devices.

What are the correct kext files to get it going?

Incidentally, I was able to modify AppleYukon2.kext and temporarily get my Marvell Yukon 88E8039 PCI-E Fast Ethernet Controller working (with string '435311AB'), but after messing with the audio kexts, this no longer works, and I can't figure out why: Networking shows the Ethernet adapter but just says not connected.

I have the same thing showing in my system profiler and it works with stereo output just fine. SPDIF doesn't work, and you can only use one output at a time.

I'm using the kexts from icchasan's guide. Just go into Sound Preferences, select one of the outputs and then start plugging into various ports until you get sound. It's crude, but it works.
