I also have an Acer Aspire 5920G. I also tried iAtkos v7, mainly because iAtkos i5 works beautifully in a hacked qemu. I also got problems with Broadcom BCM 5787M: no driver in the world could make it work for me.

Finally, I succumbed to iDeneb 1.6. I had to select a few drivers during Customize, nothing too complicated (can't remember the config off the top of my head right now, but I can post exact info later today, if you want). iDeneb works like a charm. BUT, the Broadcom BCM 5787M needs the tcpdump trick. Start Leopard, open a console and run this command: "tcpdump -i enX", where X is your interface number (usually 0).
