Problem:
In system preferences in Display it only show 1024x786 but my monitor supports 1440x900. Where can i find a driver? Or what this the fix? Ive been googling all day.

I read that the 10.5.8 update fixes this but when I updated it hung on the gray apple screen with the turning circle icon. Does the update just take awhile? like more than 15 minutes? or is it hanging there cuz i updated through software update?

Computer Specs:
lenovo x60 tablet
1.9 Ghz Intel centrino duo processor
2GB RAM
Intel graphics accelerator

I got exactly the same problem

I have Intel G33 chipset express.

Do you know any kernel that would allow me to change the screen resolution

when I use windows. I can use 1600x1020.
