I'm an unlucky customer of the Dell studio 1537 laptop...
Nice computer indeed but with osx is a real pain...

I would like to install leopard but, the last time I try to install it I have no QE/CI support...and someone tell me that I can't use leopard without them...
But on youtube I see a boy that install kalyway on this laptop and he can play videos, everything....and he said that this forum help him a lot

My graphic card is an ati mobility radeon hd 3450, there is someone that has installed osx with this card?
maybe with some modified kext? or one that is compatible?

EDIT: I didn't try snow leopard, but if it is compatible with my graphic card maybe I will try it!

Theres no support for your video card, did you check in netkas site?

I don't know what is netkas site...
But I read somewhere here that someone have this driver...maybe he was wrong...

HERE the user jottab says that he used for his problem a modified version of 3450 driver...so maybe somewhere this kext exist

I like to use osx for graphic design, watch video, internet and chat, and music...thanks

without qe/ci then you shouldn't use osx at all.
programs like chess, photobooth and etc ... requires qe/ci

so If I running a system with dual boot leo + xp I could use leopard to work with adobe software and listen to music and web and xp for webcam and play something?

i also got ati mobiliy 3450 card...

any soulition for us?
