Another request for help

Have been installing this all weekend now. Have tried kalyway and now Iatkos 5i

Both work reasonabl well on my acer 7730 laptop with exception of audio and network.To be honest at the moment i am not that fussed about these two thigns but one thing i wuld love to get working is to change resolution of my screen.

Its currently 1024x768 and i have no option on how to change it. The graphics card with this laptop is an intel graphics accellerated media as part of the intel mobile 4 series chipset. its one of these ones that shared system resources. I note there are no drivers on any of the packages available but i still naively thoght i amy be able to change display resolution.

I have tried booting with "Graphics Mode"="1440x900x32" but thi does not work. have also tried manually editing the com.apple.Boot.plist file by adding

<key>Graphics Mode</key>
<string>1440x900x32</String>

But this has made no difference either.

Am i onto plums here? Is there a way to change it. Dont want to keep banging my head against the wall if its simply not possible.
