Default any dual nehalem i7 mobo hackintosh out there?

Hello. i have noticed that many of the hackintosh projects out there seem to be mid-level hardware and processor set ups. I would like to put together a machine based on the dual lga1366 mobos from asus. Unfortunately, as a long time mac user, i am basicly uneducated as a hacker or as a pc user. Is there anyone in this community who also is interested in building a hackintosh to compete with the dual nehalem i7 macpro desktop?
i would really like to begin learning, however i cant find any hackintosh projects this ambitious. I have looked at hundreds of posts and most folks seem to be happy with projects composed of mostly humble processors, etc.

I do recall someone making a dual LGA771 Xeon Hackintosh with reasonable success. You shouldn't have too much trouble IMO. I think the most important part of speccing the system up would be components like the GPU, sound, WI-FI etc that need drivers. Use hardware that is well documented for OSx86 or used in the actual Mac Pro already.
