For some reason when i created a back up of my iphone it keeps cydia and installer in the package. Some reason the other day my phone just crashed and was showing "the man " and wouldn't do anything else, so i figured go to itunes and then option and go to my last saving of my phone. Well, every time i do this it loads the phone up fine wifi works fine but i get no service, keeps showing 1 bar. I am running service 2.2 and 2.28 baseband. I tried turning off and on and airplane mode several times and reset my network settings but still nothing. I know 3.0 is coming or out by now but i am trying to figure this out so i can use my phone. I sometimes use a tmobile sim so thats why i am trying to keep the unlock option.

If someone has a link to firmware upgrade to 2.2.1 without baseband option and not bit torrent because i dont know how to do that,thatd be great...

I am on a mac book if that makes a difference...thanks to anyone that can help me

U dont need to upgrade to 2.2.1 because ull modem will upgrade too ill give u link maybe it helps u:

If u have 2g then just ugrade to 3.0 and use redsn0w to jailbreak it and ur phone will be unlocked!!! peace greece
