hey guys

i just got an iPhone 3G from ebay today and i restored it to 2.20 and then i used quickpwn. when i did restore it at the end it said "1013 error" everything else went smooth and then when i tried to put in the sim card it keeps saying "searching" and then "no service"

i have no idea what the problem is. btw i am an ATT customer but i dont feel like paying the ridiculous bill every month, so i will just use wifi if i need to.

Please, confirm your FW, baseband and bootloader and let us know

1013 means you have downgraded your FW - why did you do that?

ok so i re-restored my iPhone to 2.2.1 and itunes said something like your phone has been restored to its factory settings, i didnt get any error so thats good. then i quickpwned it and i installed my sim card and i get nothing. heres a picture of what it looks like with the sim card installed

Now do the restore again but with your SIM card in. Let iTunes activate your phone then pwn it.

the problem is i dont want itunes to activate it because that means i will have to pay the ridiculous amount for the bills. i will just use wifi if i HAVE to go on the internet. so what do i do.

and yes i am a ATT customer so i dont think i need it unlocked.

anyone that has any info please help me.
