I have firmware 2.2.1, and i Tunes 8. I've tried installing quickpwn on my phone twice now, and everytime I do it, it always gets stuck on the boot screen. I just keep having to restore it.
I've rebooted it after install, turned it off, left it on for 15 minutes or so, and it just stays on the damn silver apple. Also, when installing quickpwn, I have the option to add Cydia, Installer, and the pineapple logo, but that's it. I don't see the unlock option. I updated the phone and also the carrier settings in the last update. Does that have anything to do with it? Any suggestions on how to get this to work would be great. |

I'm trying to jailbreak my iphone. I have no interest in unlocking it.
As I said, I've tried twice using quickpwn, and both times it gets stuck on the boot screen. I've had to do a system restore twice. Is it maybe because of that carrier settings update? |

After using quickpwn, it flashes nos and all that good stuff, but it just keeps getting stuck. I would really love to jailbreak it, but this just isn't worth it right now. Restoring takes forever. Thanks all. |

Holy shit....it worked. When I did the last restore, I didn't sync it or update the carrier settings. One of those must have been screwing it up. But it's all loaded up now! Now I just have to sync it and put all my crap back on there.
