I updated my 3g 2.2 to 2.2.1 (like a dummy) though itunes. Of course it changed my band. Now I have not phone : ( I put my firmware back to 2.2 and tried to jailbreak it using quickpwn 2.2. I'm getting a unknown error 1013. It says my iphone could not be restored. I restored my phone back to the factory settings, but now itune is stating it can't activate my phone because I have no SIM. I have a T-Mobile sim. I'm stuck! Is there a way to by pass this. I am unable to do anything in itunes. No restore. No nothing. PLEEEEEEEAAAAAASSSSSSEEEE HELP!

Downgrade wont help, the error you see is due to the baseband not beeing downgraded. There is no way downgrading the 3G's baseband as of now.
Should have checked the forum first...
You are stuck now with firmware 2.2.1, no unlock, no way back.
The only thing you could do is use Quickpwn and make the iPhone act as an iPod - and wait for a solution.
