Hi,

I have a MB048LL model (USA) iphone 3g 16g
Is possibile to have a jailbreak on this model ?
(this is new one: the apple give me the phone in substitution of the other one, bricked with jb - I think)

Yes you can JB and unlock. I have the same model # bought my 3G last week. Have fun JB'n and unlockin...

(Actually I have original apple firmware 2.2.1)

if you have baseband 2.28.00 then jb and unlock is possible. If the iphone came with 2.2.1 with BB 2.30.00 then you cant uonlock it yet til dev team comes out with the unlock. check the baseband 1st befor unlock,

Hi Zeta054, you had mention if the iphone came with 2.2.1 with BB 2.30.00 ( is it Modem Firmware ) My is 02.30.03. So it can it be unlock or JB. Thk

well as for now you cant unlock your phone with your current baseband. but u can jailbreak it. just use quickpwn 2.25-2 use the iclarified link to jailbreak 3g 2.2.1 firmware.

did u follow the instructions in iclarified's site? The phone should boot up after quickpwn.
