If you got a custom firmware, you need to use DFU mode so you can restore.
If you are using PwnageTool, build the IPSW again and follow the onscreen instructions.

All you need to do is restore to the version that your iPhone currently is and jailbreak it again. But, make sure you backup its data first.

Cheers~~

I think I am hooped. I ran Quickpwn 2.2.5 and the phone will not restore. It just beeps once, vibrates a couple of times and after 5-6 minutes it reboots and repeats the above. I have tried this both connected and unconnected to the PC. While it is trying to reboot Itunes freezes so I have no way to restore back to 2.2.1
Does anyone know of a way to run the update outside of itunes. I downloaded the ipsw file but clicking it opens itunes which freezes.
Any suggestions please?
