Hello,
since I always did the restore before I used quickpwn could someone answer me these questions: 1. If an iPhone is on 2.1 and I upgrade to 2.2 with iTunes and quickpwn it after , does the the data (SMS, Contacts, Apps...) get deleted or stays untouched? 2. Same question (with the same answer I believe) when the iPhone is already on 2.2 and just needs to be quickpwnd...everything stays on the phone? 3. When I do a backup of an friend's iPhone which has different (AppStore)Apps that I do, do those apps still get stored in that backup? Thank you! |

1. Upgrade, info stays; restore, info get deleted
2. Yes 3. I think so

You should have your contacts backup on your PC using outlook or your Address-book. SMS can be also survive an update but if you're really worried you can get a copy of sms.db before you update from /private/var/mobile/Library/SMS/ Running Quickpwn doesn't make you lose any data
