Quickpwn quick question
If i use QuickPwn to jailbreak my official unlock iphone 3G from italy(firmware 2.2), will I be able to undo the quickpwn if i want?
Like rollback to factory (official unlock)? Thanks...

i'll just use this same post for a different question.
i'm fairly new to the jailbraking world.
i'll get specs out of the way. iphone 3g 2.2/ MB 10.5.6. i've been trying to gather as much info as possible b4 i jailbreak my AT&T iphone. my question is, after i jailbreak. what program or apps work with quickpwn 2.2 as far as customization goes. i read somewhere that customize app does not work with quickpawn 2.2. all i really want to be able to do for now is, of course...change the background in the home screen, and custom sms tones, just for starters. I understand that quickpawn comes with installer and cydia. could i get some other opinions/info on what each one of those does? thanks for helping me get into the wonderful world of iphone mods.

use winterboard. install it from cydia once you restore. Btw if you are in 10.5.6 with unmodified kexts you will have trouble recognizing the phone in dfu mode.

thanks, i've read enough about the troubles that arise with 10.5.6 and not being able to put the phone in dfu mode. i'm hoping that the USB hub solution will work in my case. i'll try that first if not i'll follow the other "unmodified kexts" steps.
so once cydia is installed, do i just get winterboard off of cydia? or online. also, do i need ssh for winterboard?

just get winterboard from cydia... no ssh needed.... just an internet connection to install it.

so indeed, my HUB solved the 10.5.6 problem that's known. i'm glad i informed my self b4 performing surgery on my baby! i'll be around looking for tips and apps that can make my 3g the best around my buddies! any suggestions? anyone. and if for what ever reason, i have to go back to factory setting, i would just restore from itunes correct? i'm literally jumping off the walls right now, i just realized what i was missing on by not jailbraking sooner! wooooowwww!
