This worked for my iPhone however, now iTunes wants me to "Set Up Your iPhone" everytime I connect it to the computer. The phone has already been properly setup, but it still asks me to do this everytime. If I allow it to restore from backup, it does just that but ends on the same "Set Up You iPhone" screen.
Anyone know a fix? *edit* Nevermind, I found a fix for it online. Apparently this is a frequent problem native to 2.02 and the latest version of iTunes and has nothing to do with the QuickPwn. Last edited by hmbtnguy; 08-22-2008 at 11:31 AM. |

Same with my friend's phone. I was upgrading it from 1.1.1 to 2.0.1 with QuickPwn and the Boot logo changed to Pineapple inspite of un-checking the change logo option.

Worked flawless here on Windows XP SP3 and
3G FW 2.0.2! Everything is working and so easy going with no restore and any hassels with resyncing. If you are on a legit iPhone and you do not mind about Baseband update and later unlocking just do it this way, it is simply perfect. Thank you guys!

Hi Guys,
I have just gotten a 3G, 16G iPhone on 02 in the UK. This is via an upgrade to an account I have had for, well, ever. This has replaced my 2G iPhone which is now my spare. The phone is activated and working fine, but I want to Jailbreak to customise and do all the things I previously did on my original iPhone. Is this the tool I need to use to do the Jailbreak with? I can then have Installer for adding SummerBoard etc. I have previously been using iBricker to add ringtones and files etc to the phone, is this still possible when I have followed the process using the QuickPwn tool? Now to clear up as my kids have wrecked the house while I type this *sighs*. Cheers all, Kieron |
