Please help.

I can't unlock my 2g iphone.
I am following the pwnage tool 3.0 for 2g phone to the letter. Everything goes fine until I get to putting the phone in DFU mode.

Pwnage states it has entered DFU mode sucessfully however a message from itunes appears stating that an Iphone has been detected but it could not be identified.

This then prevents me from selecting the custom fireware. I can then put the phone into recovery mode without using Pwnage tool (manually) but when I choose the custom fireware it will not install. An error message appears stating the an unknown error has occurred. Someone please please help. My phone is now locked!!!!

You do not want itunes running when you are using Quickpwn to pwn your iphone. Make sure all itunes processes are killed before you open up Quickpwn.

Try using in Windows with Redsn0w.... (So u can jailbreak and Unlock iphone) definitely will work just before using Redsn0w plug in ur iphone, Put it in DFU mode, and drag the 3.0 ipsw file onto Redsn0w.exe release it and the command prompt will pop up saying hashing ipsw then just press enter and it will jailbreak and unlock ur iphone 2g i hope it helps its the only way to make it run.. but u need pc with os Windows XP or Vista
