Hello. I just restored my iPhone to 2.2.1 from 1.1.4. I manage to restore it fine a ran QuickPwn smoothly. But once i installed Bootneuter and tried to run it after i changed the auto-lock to never, it totally froze. I just opened Bootneuter and it said something like determing phone settings and then i just froze. Couldt move the sliders or hit Flash at all. Need a solution fast :S

thing to do is get hold of a custom ipsw with neuter/unlock enabled

Bootneuter doesn't freeze when it runs automatically from a custom made ipsw.

Just download or make a custom firmware with neuter/unlock selected & from where you are now with quickpwn installed just shift update.

Yes, but i get 1600 errors when i try to restore a custom ipsw to my iPhone... Now how do i solve that?

The way I have got around the error with a friends PC was to run quickpwn first then after its pwned shift & restore with the custom ipsw.


You shouldn't get any errors doing it that way

With 3.0 on are door step I'm sure your going to update, but ones bootneuter unlocks your BB you will not need to do that part again with 3.0.
