hey guys, i just jailbroke my iPhone 3G to 2.2. and now i cannot make calls, and my att carrier thing keeps saying searching most of the time. i cannot hear anything out of the receiver of the iPhone(the thing at the top where you can hear people talk) and i can only receive calls and i can hear what the person is saying ONLY if i have it on speaker.

i dont knw if this will help you or even if u should do this ....but ..since u've had no other replies ..here goes:

i had a frends iphone 2g which had a problem with the earphone's volume being very very low....so i searched a lil .....and the solution was to use a pin to remove a sponge thingy on the earphone.....

I had the same problem this morning. You just restore to FACTORY settings, not a backup, unless its a backup form before the jailbreak. Then you re-jailbreak, and pray.
