Hi,

My phone is stuck at the emergency call screen. I think that I've determined that there is a hardware issue that won't allow me to put it into DFU mode. So - I can't unlock/jailbreak it.

I have a couple of questions:

Does anyone know of any way to get off of the emergency call screen? For example if I sell this to someone with AT&T service will they be able to restore the software and get off this screen? The phone was working perfectly without a sim (but no phone service)before the restore in itunes and now it doesn't like my sim or like not having a sim in it.

Or is there another way to get it off of the emergency call screen - so I could possible use it as an ipod touch?

I may have indvertantly done my first restore through itunes with clicking the shift/restore. Is there a way to tell what version is on my phone now? I've since done a shift/restore with the ipsw that quickpwn told me to use.

If it is indeed a hardware issue, do you think that I could take it to the apple store to have it repaired? It has not been unlocked yet....
