Hi Guys
Im running a Mac OS X with version 10.5.6, with DFU fix applied & iTunes version 8.1 installed but ever since I've installed iPhone SDK 3.0 beta 2 (- Build: 9M2725) Quickpwn doesn't recognizing any device connect (2G or 3G) on all 2.x firmwares. Is anyone else experiencing this issue with Quickpwn after installing the SDK? And you you know of anyway to correct this without needing to completely restore my mac to default

Update: You own me a pint, n350z!
Get iTunes81.dmg Mount it View iTunes.mpkg Package contents Browse to Contents -> Resources and View AppleMobileDeviceSupport.pkg Package contents Browse over Contents and copy Archive.pax.gz file to desktop Double click desktop copy of Archive.pax.gz Jump to newly created folders System -> Library -> PrivateFrameworks -> MobileDevice.framework -> Versions -> A -> Resources Guess you know what to do from this point on ![]() BTW, do not forget to unload usbmuxd using launchctl unload /System/Library/LaunchDaemons/com.apple.usbmuxd.plist (replace unload for load to bring it back after you copied it). Argh!
Thought that might happen..this happened to me when Apple brought out 10.5.6. bug to prevent Pwn'ing... Lucky I had another mac around and ARD, so was able to remote desktop into my lappy and d/l 10.5.6, then reinstall 10.5.6.. It all worked after that. Hope you get USB back up and running |

Just to let you guys know I lost the ability to connect any of my iPhones (2G & 3G) in between. I had pretty much the same setup Speedy has but had to delete iTunes and install iTunes 7.6 (downgrade stuff for a member here), then upgraded to iTunes 8.1.1 again. I could then connect my ipod nano and classic but none of the iPhone was "found" in iTunes or SDK. Solution (at least for me): I re-installed the SDK 3 beta 2 and everything is back on track.
