so I updated my iphone from 2.2 to 2.2.1

but using quickpwn does not seem to work. During the last step when it says "quickpwn is about to run on your iphone", nothing happens. The loading bar to the bottom right is loading but there is no progress, nothing happens and I could just leave it for hours without any results...

What's wrong and what should I do? Should I use my original at&t simcard?


EDIT: okey so I guess the problem was only my computer because I tried on a friends mac and it worked.

now there is another problem: I have no wifi...anyone know how to fix this problem if it is possible?

I am seeing the same problem. I have a 2G iPhone that was upgraded to 2.2.1 in iTunes. When I try to use QuickPwn it gets to the step "Wait while your iPhone is prepared for jailbreaking..." and the status says "Uploading exploit bootloader..." and stalls.

I have even left it overnight and it is still stalled in the morning. As well I've tried it with and without the SIM card (AT&T). The SIM is not active in my current location. This is using QuickPwn 2.2.5 on Windows XP Pro SP3.

Putting the phone into dfu mode and having iTunes load 2.1 nets the same result. Any ideas about what I am doing wrong here?

yes, the only solution I have to that problem is to try it on someone else's computer.

After trying many many many times with different versions of the code from 2.0,2 through 2.2.1 on my desktop I had a go on my laptop with 2.2 and it worked like a charm first time!
