iPhone 2G doesnt get unlocked qucikpwn /pwnage-tool
I have an iPhone 2G on 2.2 FW and i tried to unlock and activate it today but it didnt work...
1. i tried it with quickpwn it unlocked but it didnt accept my SIM -> i restored it again with DFU-mode and tried it again ... same again -> i downloaded bootneuter via cydia but it couldnt connect with the bootloader... (wanted to change the bootloader) 2. i used pwnage tool 2.2.5 to make a .ispw with the new 2.2.1FW but my iPhone didnt accept it when i tried to restore via DFU-mode... any ideas? PLEASE HELP ME!! :'( i have unlocking skills but im not a professional ... is it possible to restore to 2.0 or 2.1 and use a older version of quickpwn or pwnagetool? does this make sense?

Been in this kind of situation myself where bootneuter freezes
Have you tried this combination it worked 4me 1) do a clean 2.2.1 restore with std firmware 2) run quickpwn to actvate & jailbreak 3) In itunes get the phone up running without the unlock then use alt/restore and restore with your custom ipsw Hopefully this way the custom ipsw will not show errors because the phone is pwned by the quickpwn process & bootneuter will run automatically and unlock the baseband.

can i use quickpwn also for the new 2.2.1 FW?
right now im 2.2.1 so would me easy

If you're Quickpwn at 2.2.1 now don't worry about dfu just open itunes & hold down alt, press restoring, select the custom 2.2.1 ipsw.

o right then run quickpwn now after that's done set the phone up in itunes and then alt/restore and restore with your custom 2.2.1 ipsw.

ok i checkt the updates and it tells me that i have the newest version of quickpwn...
