Thats what i got today a big ass bag of hurt. Iknow this is not a PS3 fourm but i thought i would just post this in chit chat section. So here is my story of here i got pwned. I didnt play Metal gear solid 4 for awhile so i bustted it out and try to install the game. No got, it froze while installing. I looked all over the internet and found no fix so i backed up my data to a hard disk and reformatted the drive. Tried to install game. No go still failed . I give up and go to play soul calibur. No luck, it will see the data but wont load it. It says data wont load due to not being made on psn account and not being made on ps 3. Mind you i have a crazy ass win record online and all the stuff in the game i give Sony a call and they say as well. Also i asked them about metal gear and they said i could return the game to where i got it or send my PS3 in for repair If any one knows a fix for my data transfer troubles please let me know because i dont want to have to start over again :Sad:

dude i think u are cursed, someone has defenitley cursed u, I mean first ur iPhone's screen and now this. If i were u I will donate something for charity or i don't know just get someone to check u up a priest or something..Joking

Anyway if i were u i'd just send the ps3 in if it is still under warranty, just to be on the safe side.

I send my PS3 in for gettign a infectus soldered. They send it back (I have reciept) and the package disappeared in postal. Post is still refusing to pay for it as they still doing ongoing investigation in this case (since half a year now).

damn man that sucks ass. Did you use the local service or fed ex. Well i at least got some light at the end of my story. Today i moved my flat screen and my ps3 as close as i could to the wall of my kicthen to bootleg some wifi and signed on to my psn account, because my other nieghbors wifi is either messed up or been firewalled since i bootlegged theres for the longest. Once i signed on to my account the game recongized my data but the wifi signal drops out so fast i cant get the update for the game but i can still play:p. It still wont install metal gear but i can install every other game so i think its the disk. I am gonna pwn the game off to the local game stop and use the money towards buying my own router so i dont have to hack/bootleg anymore wifi

Local service ;( I dunno if I will get ever my $$ back or they proberly will tr to give me the current price which is about 200 less than it was worth as I bought it.

i have heard stories about local shipping companies from all over the world. I try and use fed ex when shipping stuff and try and get it insured. If anything ever happened with my ps3 tho i would try and take it to the nearest sony store and have them ship it that way the blame is on them if the shit hits the fan. I think sony has a pretty okj deal going on right now where if you get a playstation visa you can buy a ps3 for 250$
