I have successfully restored my firmware to 2.0.2 with winpwn 2.5 but i do not get service. when i enter my t-mobile SIM card into the phone and unlock the pin code, it only shows one bar of service, and doesnt show the tmobile sign beside it. does any one know what that means and what i can do to fix this problem?

and does winpwn2.5 jailbreak AND unlocks your iphone, or whats the deal??

what i did to unlock it to my t-mobile service was to buy a turbosim from this seller on ebay: http://cgi.ebay.com/ws/eBayISAPI.dll...l%3FMyEbayBeta

i put it in with my sim card (you dont need to cut your sim ) and it worked perfectly. you need to go to settings>general>network> turn 3g off! and then
insert it into the tray, and voila!!! it works!

Be careful with the *SIM solutions: [3G] xSIMs and friends (dual SIM proxy family) - don't bother

The winpwn tool does not yet unlock the IPhone 3g for any other networks. I am in the same boat. I have T-Mobile and sit patiently while i wait for a software based solution.

for what i know first time use hypersim need to give it few minutes for it to pickup the signal~~
