ok, I have a 3g 8 gig with Orange over here in Romania, I only want to get installer and cydia on my iphone. My question is, what should I do? should I go through the whole process of winpwn? or just do a quickpwn? which one wouldn't give me as much problems as I see other ppl having? as in GPS, 3G issues......
Thanks! |

Either method is fine for you. If you want to just pwn/JB your phone do quickpwn method. This overwrites the firmware without losing all your data already on the iPhone (so no need to restore from a backup and load your stuff).
If you need to do a restore anyway (say you were having other problems ) then winpwn - then restore all your data (this will take a couple of hours) |

Quickpwn lets you to jailbreak your phone without a restore / reloading the fw.
Winpwn & pwnagetool creates custom ipsw fw file that you use to restore your phone, Winpwn / pwnagetool also has additional options you can select, Mainly this includes unlocking / editing boot and recovery images and repartitioning.
