Ok, I just got it shipped, I never ever worked with a 3g, I do know lots about a 2g, but I want to be carefull, problem is, I don't have the data cable from the 3g, is it ok to use the one from the 2g? And what winpwn combination works 100% sure? 'Cause I've read other posts saying to use 500 megs, 550.......... what do I choose?

The 2G data cable is working for me. Only backdrop: The 2G dock does not fit the 3G iPhone. As you may know, there is no unlock for 3G iPhones so far. Only if your iPhone 3G is factory unlocked (like some from from Italy), you can use Winpwn to jailbreak it and use Installer/Cydia. Otherwise you'll have to wait.

first of all are you stupid you should have studied about unlocking before buying the 3g iphone
and you are saying "oh no"
there are so many threads where it says that there is no unlock solution out yet
