I have managed to jailbreak my iphone 3g with winpwn but i cannot send messages and make phone calls but can recieve. Apparently it is something to do with the fact that the iphone software file is american, as I can see when i type numbers in with the keypad.

Where can i find the file on my computer, as i downloaded 2.0.1 update and it should be in my pc somewhere.... Or can someone give me a link?

Haha, wow... Did you thought there are localized *.ipsws? I guess i don't have to tell you that you can change the language in the settings.. Oh, and your 1602 error -> Clicky

go to this in windows -

C:\Users\User\AppData\Roaming\Apple Computer\iTunes\iPhone Software Updates

All the updates you have applied for your phone on that computer are there (iTunes has to store the downloaded files somewhere!)

edit: btw i need it in english because of the phone (american one does 123-456-1324 or something like that for example and it needs to be (00000)-000000 in england otherwise it won't work and i won't get signal.

There is NO such thing as an English restore file or american!

You just change the format in the settings menu!

If you can't figure that out you should not be jailbreaking your phone as your clearly not able to read carefully and learn and if you jailbreak it without that I promise your phone won't work!

1602 means try different USB ports, different computer - keep trying eventually it will work.

Or you could use quickpwn to do the jailbreak.
