Well I thought I would start a post for the countdown till the dev team and cmw updates the pwnage tool/ winpwn. I am in no hurry, but would like to see if the gps is better after updating.

I wonder if you can just "repwn" using the new firmware?

winpwn and pwnage will not allow you to even try. Even if the files are the same that pwning uses, the software will tell you unknown fw. So maybe a quick update soon for pwning, but I doubt it. The only time you could re-jb right away with no modifications was with 1.1.4 and ziphone. But otherwise we have had to wait days (if not weeks)

Like I have said before I dont mean to be rude in any of my posts, but it is the truth. But they play on the safe side and I respect them.

You talk as though they are working for you or owe you something. Its not a matter of being rude as it is being stupid. Come on man, the fucking fw is out a couple hrs now, what do you expect them to do? Stop whatever it was they were doing as individuals and run and update pwnage asap so you can update your shit? You need to realize that they could have gone the route apple was hoping all the developers would go, the way of greed and just go through the official appstore and get paid to make apps rather than develop apps and unlock iphones for free.

I wasn't telling them to hurry up I was just saying that it takes them awhile to update the tools AFTER they had figured out to do it. They showed everyone July 11 that they had successfully jailbroke and unlocked 2.0 but they waited till the 20th to release a update. Now I am not doing anything but stating facts nothing else. I am not wishing they rush to release it nor do I feel like they owe anybody anything. Sorry if you misunderstood me
