I have tried everything on this first gen iphone. Different ports, different computers, pc, mac, Removed Itunes, reinstalled itunes, New cord old cord. I thought it was fixed last week. I removed everything apple from my pc and plugged the phone into the computer and it started charging. I then installed itunes and it workded for about an hour. The the phone freaked out like it was being unplugged and then plugged back in. There is no short in the cord or the usb port.
The exact windows message is that the USB Device is not Recognized. The phone still charges using a wall outlet. |
