Hello everyone

I have an iphone 2g week 14 2008 (88814) I have tried to unlock+JB my iphone twice now. Every time, after restoring the phone with itunes to 2.1, quickpwn stuck when it should neuter my iphone.

itunes doesnt give me errors when restoring. why I cant complete the process? what could I try?

edit: I just tried to JB only and it has finished the process. it says no sim card inserted and the wifi icon is grey

Hi. Your baseband is corrupt. You need to DFU restore to 2.1. You should do this twice. This is what I did when the same thing happened to me. Then run QuickPwn

when you say dfu u mean when the phone seems off but itunes detects it?

as I thought..anyway does not work still stuck at determining settings. still no errors when restoring to any 2.x fw...

I believe that the baseband need to be reflashed. the problem is that my BL is 4.6. so at this point I guess the only hope is to go back to fw 1.1.4. reflash BL to 3.9 and then flash the BB.
Anyway since I have got this phone from a friend of mine and knowing the risk of this operation I am thinking about giving back the phone.


edit: last thing wifi icon is not grey anymore but it does not detect any wifi even though there is one.
