I have been trying to unlock and jailbreak my iphone (1.1.4) with winpwn. And I failed to unlock and jailbreak my iPhone with iTunes8.0 and winpwn crashed for many times. Then I downgraded my iTune down to iTunes7.7 now iTune doesn't work with my iPhone.

This iPhone cannot be used because the required software is not installed. Run the iTunes installer to remove iTunes, then install iTunes again.

So, I remove and reinstall iTunes again with iTunes7.7 this massage still apear. Then I remove and reinstall it again but now with iTunes8.0 but this massage still apear and my iPhone still doesn't work with my iTunes.

How to fix this problem?
And what causes this problem it is because of my iPhone or iTunes or Winpwn?

no clue what causes the problem...... uninstall itunes, quicktime, apple mobile device support and apple updater

this is a complete uninstallation of itunes

Now install itunes 8.0 and restore to STOCK 2.0.x and use quickpwn for windows to pwn

I did uninstall iTunes + Quicktime but it still doesn't work but I'm not sure whether I have uninstalled apple moblie mobile device support and apple updater. Where can I find apple mobile device and apple undater?

However, I tried on another PC and iTunes worked fine.

u should just wait till winpwn 3.0 comes out, then upgrade to 2.1 firmware and jailbreak it

Anyway I got my iPhone working on another PC with iTunes8.0 and upgraded to 2.1 firmware via iTunes8.0 as well.

I got it working by using one of my friends custom restore that he created and just press shift+restore in iTunes8.0. Then I got my iPhone working on 2.1 firmware. It was so easy!!

What version of WinPwn are you using. I had similar issues and I uninstalled IT 8 and installed it 7.7, I also uninstalled WinPwn 2.5 and installed 2.0.4 and then it worked fine.
