How do I turn my iPhone off?

Hey my power button is broken and im trying to winpwn it because its having software problems too; time is off sms not really working.

So is there a work around to turn my iPhone off, besides letting the power run out?

I think that even if you let it power down, once you connect the iphone on the dock / cable it automatically boots. So you can install BossPrefs & use its "Power" button to select Power Off.

Thats very helpful however wifi was also an issue, it says no wifi which is very odd any suggestions?

also in cydia/installer there is a tool called power tool or something like that that lets u turn off ur phone

also u could use this button to respring to lock screen
so it
'sleeps" faster and u conserve battery

This question has been asked multiple times, but to winpwn you have to put the phone into DFU mode, which without the power button is impossible, unless they made a "script" which I'm not aware of.

You can use a program such as iNdependence or ZiPhone to put the phone in DFU mode, after a restore with your custom firmware it will reboot itself into normal mode. That should do it for you.

ok so i tried puttting it into dfu mode with ziphone but its a 2.0.1 fw and ziphone is for 1.1.4 huh?

winpwn2.5 didnt seem to like the mode ziphone put it into

so ziphone isnt able to put it back into normal mode and itunes cant restore it.. plus my power button doesnt work

That's the latest version of ZiPhone made for newer firmwares. Sorry for not posting that before.
