You can re-use it again and again. Just make sure to put the "new" iPhone into DFU again.

You do have a custom firmware sitting on your PC that you already used on an iPhone. You want another (still locked) iPhone been unlocked with the same custom firmware. Connect the still locked iphone to your PC, quit iTunes if running. Shut down the iPhone (red slider) Hold start/sleep and home button on the iPhone for 10 seconds let go of start/sleep but keep holding home button for > 10 seconds... ...until iTunes starts automatically and finds an iPhone in recovery/restore mode let go of home button and shift-restore to the custom firmware until you start restoring the iPhone screen is black (=DFU mode). You can re-use a custom firmware again and again on locked iPhones, just have to put them in DFU mode. Ne need to even start Winpwn for that. hope that helps

[QUOTE=volkspost;342982]Sorry if my answer was misleading.

Thanks for your answer...just need to know you mean to say that i just need to restore another phone with custom firmware directly using itunes without needing to start winpwn? |

Just keep in mind: A custom firmware made for a 2G iPhone is only to be used on a 2G iPhone ;-)

From then the only thing to do if you have a custom firmware and a bunch of iphones that have never pwnaged before is to put them in DFU mode and shift-restore to the custom firmware. If an iPhone has been pwnaged before (e.g. using another older custom firmware) you use simple restore/recovery mode instead of DFU. Last note; my experience: I had used Winpwn 2.0.0.3/4 before on one iPhone. At the very first time I used the button "iPwner" only once. Then made one custom firmware. From taht moment on (same now at winpwn 2.5) I only put a never pwnaged iphone into DFU and shift-restore, already pwnaged just in recovery. Always worked, all my friends iPhones are on 2.0.2 using this way.
