Hi, i have an 1.1.1 iphone that i have upgraded to 1.1.4 and unlock it with iLiberty, but now i what to upgrade it to 2.0.1 and i dont no if i just upgrade it via itunes to 2.0.1 and than use winpwn or if i have to virginize it to 1.1.1 and than upgrade it via itunes to 2.0.1 or just use winpwn?

And just one more question, should i upgrade itunes to the latest version?
Can someone help me?

Hi,

I am getting a brand new OOTB 1st Gen iPhone this weekend (my cousin had a spare one) which has never been used.
I intend on jailbreaking/activating and unlocking to fw 2.0.1 using Winpwn 2.0.0.4 (I would rather install 2.0.1 than the upcoming 2.0.2).

The iPhone will have 1.1.4 and 4.6BL.

Do I need to update the iPhone fw to 2.0.1 via iTunes (the official release) before creating and installing the custom_restore_2.0.1 ipsw (that I will generate using Winpwn) ??
(Or can I install a custom 2.0.1 straight onto 1.1.4) ??

When creating the custom ipsw in Winpwn, I need to start with a restore ipsw file.
Do I use a 1.1.4 ipsw (as my iPhone currently has 1.1.4) or do I use a 2.0.1 ipsw ??
