What I can do with Official Iphone 2,2 3G

I have Official Iphone with 2.2 Firmware never Jailbreak , Can I jailbreak and unlock ? Waht I should do with mac?? I do not want to upgrade to 3.1. Thanks

if you are truly on 2.2 and not 2.2.1 then you can jailbreak and unlock with yellowsn0w

Check your moderm firmware, it should be 02.28.00, if it is not that version your phone has been upgraded and then downgraded back to 2.2

To check this open Settings - General - About - modem firmware on your phone.
