iPhone OS 3.0[Pwnage 3.0] problem help !!!
hey i have a 3g iphone running os 3.0
this is what i did and my problem: i was on fw 2.2 i restored my iphone to OS 3.0 then from iClarified tried to jailbreak my iPhone using Pwnage tool 3.0. when it reached the "your iphone has successfully entered DFU mode" iTunes pops up and says "waiting for iPod" ??? why does it say iPod?? then it comes up with an error msg 1601. i tried redsnow as well but i guess i should not mention what happened here. please help !!!!

What version of iTunes do you have? I was having errors when I was restoring my iPhone in my Hackingt0sh too (receiving some error messages), but I updated iTunes to 8.2 and that solved my problems.
